Focus & Vision for District 8

Three urgent fights for West Tennessee.

Grounded in lived experience, not partisan talking points. Each one has a plan behind it — and a way for you to measure whether I delivered.

Day One Priority

West Tennessee Farmers

Tariffs and thin margins are squeezing row-crop families from Gibson County to Haywood County. Farming here isn't a business line — it's a generational legacy. Relief and farm-focused policy come first.

Personal to Me

Affordable Healthcare

I lost my mother to cancer when I was six, and my first wife at forty-five. I will not treat Healthcare like a talking point. No family in this district should be bankrupted by a diagnosis.

27 Years in Uniform

Service Members & Veterans

Veterans earned every benefit this nation promised. I'll be their advocate on budget day — not just on Veterans Day — with faster claims and real mental health access close to home.

Why I'm Running

This Is Personal

I grew up in a blended family of thirteen siblings. My father was a Methodist minister. My mother passed in 1968 from breast cancer — I was six, my baby sister was four. A loss like that never leaves you.

“I am not a career politician. I am a West Tennessean who has lived the issues that matter most to this district. I will not be boxed in by party loyalty — I am Independent, and independence is your greatest asset in Congress.”

  • Fayette County
  • Gibson County
  • Haywood County
  • Henderson County
  • Madison County

Three messages about independent leadership, West Tennessee roots, and the issues families discuss around the kitchen table.

Voices of the District

Independent Voice

No party bosses or Washington agenda — a commitment to affordable living, accessible healthcare, safe communities, and responsible government.

From Here

0:34

A message rooted in West Tennessee’s farms, small businesses, churches, families, and communities.

Kitchen Table

0:34

A focus on the everyday cost pressures facing working families — from groceries and healthcare to opportunity and responsible spending.

Voice of the District

Paul DW says what a lot of us are thinking.

A West Tennessee singer-songwriter wrote a song about politicians who promise to drain the swamp and leave it deeper than they found it. It is exactly the kind of independent voice this campaign is built around.

Hear the Song

“I wrote this because I'm tired of watching politicians promise the world, go to Washington, and leave the rest of us holding the bag. Independent leadership is the only kind that scares them.”

— Paul DW, Singer-Songwriter

Showing Up, Not Sending Mailers

This seat belongs to the people of West Tennessee.

Door to door, county fair to car show, Jackson to Collierville. Add your name and help carry this district.

Chip In

No corporate PACs. Just neighbors.

An Independent has no party machine writing checks. $25 puts yard signs on a block in Covington. $100 fuels a weekend of canvassing across two counties.
